BUY THE PLANT AND SHE WILL HAVE FLOWERS ALL YEAR ROUND,I HAVE A DOZEN OR SO PLANTS AND THE FLOWERS ARE ASOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ALL YEAR ROUND.

Mannliz is onto the right idea - since hibiscus flowers, when picked, don’t last long at all, and that way she can look at the plant in full flower all the time.
They do well in pots as well, and you get some really stunning colors. They’re not expensive.

You have to go to your local shops and find out…. but I agree, buy her the plant, as the flowers don’t last long at all after being cut. My husband bought me two of them, one red and one pink with a red throat, and I have enjoyed flower after flower since. I bought my mother one for Mother’s day, I payed 17.00 for it at Lowes. A few days later my husband and I stumbled upon them at Walmart for 9.99… what a deal!
